【報いる神 The God Who Rewards】

【御言葉】”王が彼女に尋ねると、彼女は王にそのことを話した。すると王は彼女のために、一人の宦官に「彼女のすべての物と、彼女がこの地を離れた日から今日までの畑の収穫のすべてを、返してやりなさい」と命じたのであった。”列王記第二 8章 6節
【観察】主の下僕にしたことには必ず報いがある。このシュネムに住んでいた裕福な女性はエリシャのため、住まいの一室をリフォームし、いつでもエリシャが泊まれるようにした。彼女はエリシャに本当に良くしたのだ。そして、主は彼女がした行為以上のことを彼女に報いてくださった。これを読んだ時、マタイ10:42の御言葉を思い出された。「わたしの弟子だからということで、この小さい者たちの一人に一杯の冷たい水でも飲ませる人は、決して報いを失うことがありません。」
【適用】主の下僕であるクリスチャンに良くする。
【祈り】主よ、あなたは真実な方です。私達が主の下僕にしたことには必ず報いがあることを信じます。冷たい水一杯でも報いがあると言うなら、クリスチャンを家に泊めたら、どれ程の報いがあることでしょうか。しかし、その報いをこの地上で受けるかどうかは分かりませんが、この世で受けようと、天で受けようと、どちらで受けようと報いが必ずあることを信じます。主よ、出来れば、その報いをこの地上で受けずに、天で受けれるようにしてください。そうすれば、報いは永遠に残りますので。😄どちらにしても、あなたが報いてくださる神であることを感謝します。🙏
【Scripture】2 Kings 8:6 NIV[6] The king asked the woman about it, and she told him. Then he assigned an official to her case and said to him, “Give back everything that belonged to her, including all the income from her land from the day she left the country until now.”
【Observation】There is always a reward for what we do for the Lord’s servants. This wealthy woman who lived in Shunem renovated a room in her house so that Elisha could stay there whenever he wished. She truly treated Elisha very well. And the Lord rewarded her beyond what she had done. When I read this, I was reminded of the words in Matthew 10:42 NIV.“And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.”
【Application】Treat Christians, who are the Lord’s servants, well.
【Prayer】Lord, You are faithful. I believe that whatever I do for Your servants will surely be rewarded. If You say that even a cup of cold water will be rewarded, how much greater will the reward be for welcoming a Christian into our home? Though I do not know whether I will receive that reward on this earth, I believe that a reward is certain—whether I receive it in this life or in heaven.Lord, if possible, please let me receive that reward in heaven rather than on this earth. That way, the reward will last forever.😄 Either way, I thank You for being a God who rewards us. 🙏
