【まずは自分が主に繋がること First, Connect myself to the Lord】

【御言葉】10 その世代の者たちもみな、その先祖たちのもとに集められた。そして彼らの後に、主を知らず、主がイスラエルのために行われたわざも知らない、別の世代が起こった。11 すると、イスラエルの子らは主の目に悪であることを行い、もろもろのバアルに仕えた。士師記 2章 10〜11節

【観察】世代は必ず変わる。ここに以前の世代は主を知っていた。主を知っているとは主と関係があったということだ。しかし、次の世代は主を知らなかった。つまり、主と関係がなかった。故に他の神に仕えるようになったのは当然だ。この時代だけでなく、信仰継承は今の時代にもとても大切だ。私達はいかに自分達の信仰のバトンを次世代に渡していくことが出来るのだろうか？

【適用】まずは自分自身が主としっかりとつながり、主との関係を生活レベルで証ししていく。

【祈り】主よ、毎日のデボーションを豊かに祝福してください。毎日、御言葉を読むことを忘れることがないようにしてください。あなたに対する飢え渇きを増し加えてください。あなたとの関係が本物でなければ、意味がありません。あなたとの関係からいのちを受け、その余った分が私の周りの人達に流れますように。🙏

【Scripture】Judges 2:10-11 NIV[10] After that whole generation had been gathered to their ancestors, another generation grew up who knew neither the Lord nor what he had done for Israel. [11] Then the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the Lord and served the Baals.

【Observation】Generations inevitably change. Here, the previous generation knew the Lord. To know the Lord means they had a relationship with Him. However, the next generation did not know the Lord. In other words, they had no relationship with Him. Therefore, it was only natural that they began to serve other gods. Not only in that era, but the passing down of faith is also very important in our time. How can we pass the baton of our faith on to the next generation?

【Application】First, I must establish a firm connection with the Lord myself and bear witness to my relationship with Him in my daily life.

【Prayer】Lord, please richly bless my daily devotions. Help me never to forget to read Your Word every day. Increase my hunger and thirst for You. If my relationship with You is not genuine, it is meaningless. May I receive life from my relationship with You, and may the overflow of that life flow to those around me. 🙏
