【自分自身を聖別せよ！ Consecrate myself!】

【御言葉】”立て。民を聖別せよ。そしてこう言え。あなたがたは、明日のために自らを聖別しなさい。イスラエルの神、主がこう告げられるからだ。『イスラエルよ、あなたの中に聖絶の物がある。あなたがたがその聖絶の物を、あなたがたの中から取り除くまでは、敵の前に立つことができない。”ヨシュア記 7章 13節

【観察】マタイ5:29でイエス様は「もし右の目があなたをつまずかせるなら、えぐり出して捨てなさい。からだの一部を失っても、全身がゲヘナに投げ込まれないほうがよいのです。」と言っていることと、このアカンの聖絶の話がリンクした。聖絶のものを自分から取り除かなければ、自分も聖絶のものと一緒に滅ぼされる。神は聖いお方なのだから、神の子である私もその聖さを求められている。

【適用】神の御前で聖絶のものがないか、聖霊様に示してもらう。

【祈り】聖霊様、私の生活を見、あなたの御前で相応しくないものがあったら、示してください。そして、示されたのなら、それを喜んで取り除くことが出来ますように。🙏

【Scripture】Joshua 7:13 NIV[13] “Go, consecrate the people. Tell them, ‘Consecrate yourselves in preparation for tomorrow; for this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: There are devoted things among you, Israel. You cannot stand against your enemies until you remove them.

【Observation】This story of Achan’s consecration connects with what Jesus said in Matthew 5:29: “If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. ”Unless I remove the things that are under the ban from myself, I too will be destroyed along with them. Since God is holy, I, as His child, am also called to pursue that holiness.

【Application】I will ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any defiled things in my life before God.

【Prayer】Holy Spirit, look upon my life and reveal anything that is unworthy before You. And if You reveal it, may I joyfully remove it. 🙏
