【聖霊様、彼らに示してください！Holy Spirit, please show them!】

【御言葉】”しかし私たちは、この世の霊を受けたのではなく、神からの霊を受けました。それで私たちは、神が私たちに恵みとして与えてくださったものを知るのです。”コリント人への手紙第一 2章 12節

【観察】最近、ある日本人のクリスチャンが自分の子どもや同僚は、罪がどういうものなのか分からないと嘆いていた。罪を口で説明しても、理解出来ないのだ。そんな時、この御言葉が目にとまった。神が与えてくださったものは、すべて神の霊によって知るとある。天地創造も、罪も、福音も、救いも、神の愛も、永遠の命も、聖霊様によらなければ、人は分からないということだ。それらを分からせてくださるのは聖霊様の働きなのだ。

【適用】私の周りの人達に聖霊様が臨み、自分の罪を知り、救い主を求めるとこが出来るように祈る。

【祈り】主よ、私が何千もの言葉を伝えても、人は自分に罪があり、それを取り除く救い主がイエス様であることを知りません。聖霊様、あなたが私の家族、会社の人達に臨み、罪を示してくださり、彼らが「救われるにはどうしたら良いのですか？」と叫び出しますように。🙏

【Scripture】1 Corinthians 2:12 NIV[12] What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.

【Observation】Recently, a Japanese Christian lamented that his children and colleagues do not understand what sin is. Even when he explains it to them, they cannot grasp it.At that moment, this passage caught my eye. It says that everything God has given us is known through the Spirit of God. This means that without the Holy Spirit, people cannot understand the creation of the heavens and the earth, sin, the Gospel, salvation, God’s love, or eternal life. It is the work of the Holy Spirit that enables us to understand these things.

【Application】I pray that the Holy Spirit will come upon the people around me, so that they may recognize their own sin and seek the Savior.

【Prayer】Lord, even if I speak thousands of words, people do not realize they have sin, nor do they know that Jesus is the Savior who takes it away. Holy Spirit, please come upon my family and my coworkers, reveal their sin to them, and move them to cry out, “What must I do to be saved?” 🙏
