【律法 vs 信仰 Law vs. Faith】

【御言葉】24 こうして、律法はたちをキリストに導く養育係となりました。それは、私たちが信仰によって義と認められるためです。25 しかし、信仰が現れたので、私たちはもはや養育係の下にはいません。ガラテヤ人への手紙 3章 24〜25節

【観察】ここで律法の役割が書かれている。その当時、主人の元には、主人の子ども達を教育を受けられる場所に連れて行ったり、しつけたり、子ども達が間違ったことをしないよう監視する奴隷がいて、その人達を養育係りと呼んでいた。つまり、養育係りが子どもを教育機関に連れて行くように、律法も私達をキリストの元に連れて行くのが役割なのだ。また養育係りはその子が成長すれば、その役割を終える。それと同じように私達がキリストの元に行くなら、律法の役割も終わる。律法では私達は義となれなかった。しかし、信仰により、私達は義となるのである。もはや律法の下にはおらず、信仰の下にいる。律法は私達を罪人だと宣言するが、信仰は私達を義と宣言する。

【適用】私はキリストにあって、自分は義人であると信じる。

【祈り】キリストにあって、私の霊は全く聖で義の霊に新しく創造された。主よ、私に啓示を与え、その義がどんなに素晴らしいものなのか教えてください。私が律法ではなく、キリストに対する信仰によって、生きる者としてください。🙏

【Scripture】Galatians 3:24-25 NIV[24] So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. [25] Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.

【Observation】Here the role of the Law is described. In those days, masters had slaves called tutors who took the master’s children to places where they could receive education, disciplined them, and watched over them to prevent them from doing wrong.In other words, just as a tutor takes a child to an educational institution, the role of the Law is to bring us to Christ. Furthermore, once the child grows up, the tutor’s role ends. Similarly, when we come to Christ, the role of the law ends. The law could not make us righteous. But by faith, we are made righteous. We are no longer under the law but under faith. The law declares us sinners, but faith declares us righteous.

【Application】I believe that in Christ, I am a righteous man.

【Prayer】In Christ, my spirit has been completely renewed and recreated as a holy and righteous. Lord, reveal to me how wonderful this righteousness truly is. Enable me to live not by the law, but by faith in Christ. 🙏
