【あなたは選ばれている You Are Chosen】

【御言葉】”しかし、母の胎にあるときから私を選び出し、恵みをもって召してくださった神が、”ガラテヤ人への手紙 1章 15節

【観察】パウロは神が母の胎内にいる時から選ばれ、召されていたと言う。エペソ1:4ではこの世界が造られる前から私達は選ばれていたと言っている。私は今から40年前に自分の意思でキリストを信じた。しかし、神は私が存在する前から既に私を選んでいた。そして、恵みをもって、牧師に召してくださった。仏教徒であった私が、ただただ恵みによって、自分の家族6人の中から選ばれ、また召されて、今に至っている。選びは神のもの。召しも神のもの。ただ主に呼ばれた時、「はい、主よ。」といつも言える者でありたい。

【適用】私は神ではないので、誰が神に選ばれ、誰が神に選ばれていないか分からない。だから、すべての人が神に選ばれていると信じ、すべての人に福音を伝え続ける。

【祈り】主よ、あなたが私を選んでくださったのは私が素晴らしいからではなく、あなたの恵みだということは自分が一番良く分かっています。なぜなら、私は欠けが多く、私より素晴らしい人は沢山いますから。神からの愛を受けるよう、すべての人が選ばれていると信じます。ですから、私はすべての人に福音を伝えます。彼らが福音を聞き、自分の救いを受け取ることが出来ますように。またあなたを信じた者があなたの召しを知り、信仰によって、その召しに「はい」と言って、踏み出すことが出来ますように。🙏

【Scripture】Galatians 1:15 NIV[15] But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace, was pleased.

【Observation】Paul states that God chose and called him from his mother’s womb. Ephesians 1:4 declares we were chosen before the foundation of the world. 40 years ago, I chose to believe in Christ of my own volition. Yet God had already chosen me before I even existed. And by His grace, He called me to be a pastor. Though I was once a Buddhist, by grace alone, I was chosen from among my family of six and called to this place. The choosing is God’s. The calling is God’s. I simply desire to be one who can always say, “Yes, Lord,” when He calls.

【Application】I am not God, so I do not know who is chosen by God or who is not chosen by God. Therefore, I believe that all people are chosen to receive love from God and continue to share the gospel with everyone.

【Prayer】Lord, I know better than anyone that You chose me not because I am wonderful, but because of Your grace. For I am full of flaws, and there are many far more wonderful than I. I believe all people are chosen to receive God’s love. Therefore, I share the gospel with everyone. May they hear the gospel and receive their own salvation. May those who believe in You recognise Your calling, and by faith, say “yes” to that calling and step forward. 🙏
