【神を待ち望め！Put your hope in God!】

【御言葉】”わがたましいよなぜおまえはうなだれているのか。なぜ私のうちで思い乱れているのか。神を待ち望め。私はなおも神をほめたたえる。私の救い私の神を。”詩篇 43篇 5節

【観察】多分、多くの人は私は牧師なのだから、問題はないと思っていることだろう。しかし、現実は違う。私は会社でも、教会でも悩みを抱え、苦しんでいる。この詩篇の作者であるダビデも苦しい状況で苦しんでいた。ダビデも自分の状況を変えたくても、変えられなかったのだろう。私も同じだ。人にそんな力はない。ただ状況を変える力を持っているのは唯一、神だけだ。だから、神様に自分の状況を伝え、神を待ち望もう。そして、必ず神様が状況を変えてくださると信じ、神様を賛美しよう。

【適用】神様に私が置かれている状況を伝え、神様は状況を変える力を持っておられると信じ、期待し、賛美する。

【祈り】主よ、あなたは私が今、会社で、教会で置かれている状況をご存知です。私にはその状況を変える力がありません。しかし、あなたは私の状況を変えてくださるお方です。私をその状況から救い出してください。私の状況は全く変わっていませんが、あなたを賛美します。あなたを待ち望みます。🙏

【Scripture】Psalms 43:5 NIV[5] Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.

【Observation】Many probably think, “Since I’m a pastor, I must have no problems.” But reality is different. I struggle and suffer, both at work and in church. David, the author of this psalm, also suffered in difficult circumstances. David likely wanted to change his situation but couldn’t. I am the same. No human has that power.Only God alone has the power to change circumstances. Therefore, let us tell God about our situation and wait expectantly for Him. And let us believe that God will surely change the situation, and praise Him.

【Application】I will tell God about the situation I am in, believing that God has the power to change it, expecting it, and praising Him.

【Prayer】Lord, You know the situation I am in now at work and at church. I have no power to change it. But You are the One who can change my circumstances. Please rescue me from this situation. Though my circumstances haven’t changed at all, I praise You. I put my hope in You. 🙏
