【知識 vs 信仰 Knowledge vs. Faith】

【御言葉】”イエスは、彼が賢く答えたのを見て言われた。「あなたは神の国から遠くない。」それから後は、だれもイエスにあえて尋ねる者はいなかった。”マルコの福音書 12章 34節
【観察】この時、律法学者はイエス様が言われたことを理解し、素晴らしい答えをした。その答えを聞いて、イエス様は「あなたは神の国から遠くない。」と言った。そこで私はイエス様と共に十字架にかかった罪人のことを思い出した。その時、イエス様はこう言われた。「あなたは今日、わたしとともにパラダイスにいます。」（ルカ23:43）と。注目すべきことはイエス様が律法学者に対し、神の国に近くにいるが、神の国に共にいるとは言っていないことだ。しかし、あの十字架にかけられた罪人にはあなたは私と共に天国にいると言われた。どれほど聖書を知っていても、天国に近づくことは出来ても、天国には入れない。キリストへの信仰のみが天の御国に行ける門だということだ。聖書を読んでも、その神の言葉が自分の信仰に結びついていなければ、意味がないし、聖書的知識では救われない。
【適用】神の言葉から教えられるだけでは知識の蓄積になってしまい、私の生活は何も変わらない。その神の言葉を信仰で受け止め、自分の生活に適用し、実際にそのように生きる。
【祈り】主よ、私の日々のデボーションを通し、知識だけの行いが伴わない死んだ信仰ではなく、御言葉に生きる、生きた信仰者となりますように。御言葉を行う者と変えてください。今日もあなたの愛を受け取り、あなたと人を愛します。🙏
【Scripture】Mark 12:34 NIV[34] When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” And from then on no one dared ask him any more questions.
【Observation】At this point, the teacher of the law understood what Jesus had said and gave an excellent answer. Hearing this answer, Jesus said, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” This reminded me of the sinner crucified alongside Jesus. At that time, Jesus said to him, “Today you will be with me in paradise.” (Luke 23:43)What is noteworthy is that Jesus told the scribe he was near the kingdom of God, but did not say he was in the kingdom of God. Yet to that sinner on the cross, He said, “You will be with Me in Paradise today.” No matter how much one knows the Scriptures, one may draw near to heaven but cannot enter it. Only faith in Christ is the gate to the heavenly kingdom. Reading the Bible is meaningless unless its words of God connect to one’s faith; biblical knowledge alone does not save.
【Application】Merely learning from God’s Word accumulates knowledge but changes nothing in my life. I must receive that Word by faith, apply it to my life, and actually live accordingly.
【Prayer】Lord, through my daily devotions, transform me from a dead faith that possesses knowledge but lacks deeds into a living believer who lives by Your Word. Make me one who does Your Word. Today, I receive Your love and will love You and others. 🙏
