【はい、主よ！ Yes, my Lord!】

【御言葉】22 二日でも、一月でも、あるいは一年でも、雲が幕屋の上にとどまって、去らなければ、イスラエルの子らは宿営を続けて旅立たなかった。しかし、雲が上ったときは旅立った。23 彼らは主の命により宿営し、主の命により旅立った。彼らはモーセを通して示された主の命により、主への務めを守った。民数記 9章 22〜23節

【観察】イスラエルの民は主の命により宿営し、主の命により旅立った。昼でも夜でも雲が上がれば、彼らは旅立った。これはいつでも神に従う心を養うトレーニングであったに違いない。自分のタイミングではなく、神のタイミングなのだ。

【適用】私も63歳になってから、牧師に召された。私は神様に「もし私が牧師になることが分かっていたのなら、なぜ63歳なんですか？なぜもっと早く召してくださらなかったのですか？」と文句を言ったことがある。しかし、タイミングは主が決めることで、私が決めることではない。大切なのはいつでも「はい、主よ！」という心だ。

【祈り】主よ、あなたが神です。あなたが私の主です。すべてのタイミングはあなたが決めることであり、私ではないことを告白します。私がどんなことでも、いつでもあなたが言われたことには「はい、主よ！」と言えますように。🙏

【Scripture】]Numbers 9:22-23 NIV[22] Whether the cloud stayed over the tabernacle for two days or a month or a year, the Israelites would remain in camp and not set out; but when it lifted, they would set out. [23] At the Lord’s command they encamped, and at the Lord’s command they set out. They obeyed the Lord’s order, in accordance with his command through Moses.

【Observation】The Israelites camped at the Lord’s command and set out at the Lord’s command. Whether by day or by night, when the cloud lifted, they set out. This must have been training to cultivate a heart that obeys God at all times. It is not our timing, but God’s timing.

【Application】I too was called to be a pastor at age 63. I once complained to God, “If You knew I would become a pastor, why wait until 63? Why didn’t You call me sooner?” But timing is determined by the Lord, not by me. What matters is always having a heart that says, “Yes, Lord!”

【Prayer】Lord, You are God. You are my Lord. I confess that all timing is determined by You, not me. May I always respond with “Yes, Lord!” to whatever You say to me. 🙏
